Greetings from Red Oak Farms Alpacas

We are Ken and Nancylee Evans. Let us show you what our alpacas can do for you.  This is a hands on farm that will show you how to set up a small acreage alpaca farm.  This includes fencing, care, feeding, training, showing, barn set up, trailer safety and what to do with the fiber once it is sheared off the alpaca. We are happy to show you the ropes and answer all your questions on what is successful and what has not.

Our farm is located in Central Oregon 26 miles south of Bend. We are near Mt Bachlor and Sunriver Resort.

Directons to our farm:

Coming from the North on 97 you will go about 26 miles past Bend and turn right on Praire (Praire is just past State Rec Road).  (Look for a blue sign that has Quail Run Golf Course ) If you get into Lapine you have gone to far. After you  turn right on Praire go over railroad tracks and turn left at the stop sign. That is Riverview Drive.  Stay on the paved road for about 2 to 3 miles and when you come to your first right  (Otter) turn there.  There will also be a Light Brown sign that has Lazy River South .  Continue on Otter that turns into Bridge Drive after the 15 mph turn.  Do not go on any side streets. Continue on Bridge Drive for 2 to 2-1/2 miles until you see a blue house on the right go past house, you will see property with dump trucks and white fence. The 1st driveway past white fence is our farm.  Coming from the South on 97 follow same instructions except you will want to go left on Praire.  On your Right you will see an RV park.

Please call and come by to see what the alpaca and their fiber can do for you.
